⬇️Below is our recap of Act 1 Session II last week.

I will sometimes send video or audio.

I’m all for heading to the bathroom (whether I have to 'go' or not ;) to allow for uninterrupted quiet time to read if it means sticking to the priority of peace of mind connection!

So, I encourage you to do the same if need be...Believe it or not, you CAN teach your children (if it applies) not to knock on the door! 

This program supports your LIFE WORK--around your mental, emotional, and physical fitness. In sessions, we’ll REHEARSE these things! Consider these bits of outreach part of our REPETITION phase of learning. 

Remember this: A person needs to hear something at least seven times before it sinks in! So, if you happen to get sick of me saying some things over, shift your thinking to ask yourself, "Has this process I'm engaged in sunk in yet?"

These moments of outreach are also what I'm calling your TRAINING/COACHING BONUS to our program!

Of course, it's your choice to accept it or leave it. And I also challenge you to read/listen/watch what I send for further distillation and processing of what we are co-creating together in session!

ADDRESSING OVERWHELM 

I address the topic of 'overwhelm' a bit differently than you may have experienced. Below are a couple of comments from a private group I held during COVID lockdowns.

This MasterPeace-of-Mind™ program may feel overwhelming at first. As with anything worthwhile, there are inevitably pieces and parts to the experience that you might ask, "What did I get myself into?" 

Have you noticed this can be a never-ending pattern of how we approach life?

 

 In choosing to care for ourselves and others, our instinct beyond initial excitement might be to run away or ignore the details that need attention. In life, it may be when bitterness, resentment, or regret starts brewing. Why do we feel these things? TOO OVERWHELMING!

Just as stress can move from instinctual response to protect us into post-stressful anxiety that doesn’t help us we can learn to recognize the pattern of evolution of emotion around feeling overwhelmed—and take care to address it.

If at any point in this program (or life) you find yourself asking, what did I get myself into, take notice if it’s outward-based.

Why? Because there may be avoidance at play to ask: "What is my part in this struggle I'm experiencing? Why am I feeling resistant to discovering why these emotions are arising? “

Looking at a situation (or person) to blame is easy. It’s a hard task for most of us to go inward to see where we stand in position to a situation.

Les Brown reminds us:

“If you do what is easy your life will be hard. But if you do what is hard your life will be easy.” ~Les Brown

COMMITMENT related to PERSEVERANCE

Sure, we might be committed to staying in a situation (or relationship) even where bitterness erupts. Still, this is not the kind of healthy perseverance we're after in addition to confident peace of mind through struggles!

As we advance at the chronological level in relationships with unresolved inner conflicts attached, it is a dramatic play that doesn't include the possibility of a happy ending or transition forward. 

I felt incredibly on purpose and committed in my role as primary caregiver to my paralyzed ex-husband for over twenty years...and I learned this:

On-Purpose Energy and Fierce Commitment aren't enough to guarantee simultaneous peace of mind and optimal health status!

Passion, while an important factor in what can drive us, can prove fleeting. Then what? We need to become more adaptable to shifting energies!

I've created programs similar to MasterPeace-of-Mind™ for over thirty years. Like my other programs, this MasterPeace-of-Mind process is designed to help you discover how to piece together ways to:

IN OUR G.I.V.E. session timeframe, we engaged in the following:

βœ…GROUNDING: Using Einstein's CURIOSITY principle, we Reviewed the MPCreativeGenius™ Principles and Practices we will access and engage in. We shared our individual definitions of success around peace of mind. 

Here's Amy's Vision Board of our Program! 

Reconnected to our Inner Character through Emotional Core Connection to our MPCreative-Genius Principles and Practices. We chose a song that best describes our journey to honor our PAST and how we came to where we are today in confidence, courage, and struggle. 

βœ…INTELLIGENT PLANNING & PRACTICE: . Reviewed Fiery Four' Devils' using Einstein's element of CONCENTRATION to ask, "Which one is presenting in my life at present? What inner conflicts around my Fiery Devil exist? 

Example Fiery Four: Uncertainty 

Example Inner Conflict: I'm committed to this uncertain time in life, but I've got anxiety about potential judgment or rejection. 

βœ…VULNERABLE ACTION: In our breakout 'rehearsal space,' we shared our individual song picks which evoked emotional responses and connection to our inner character at present and where we come from.

βœ…Elegant engagement with LifeWork: Taking what we learn into more elegant vs. exhausted standing out into the world.

REMINDER: The name of our 'Play' is Serenity Unfolding

This is a real-life courageous (AND FUN!) journey through who we are at this season of life/business, and who we want to become! While topics can get 'dramatic' at times, we are not here to perform therapy. This is a one-of-a-kind combination of artistic-theatrical-and genius-wisdom principles and practice put into motion.

WHY? So we can advance to:

βœ…repeatedly build adaptability, flexibility, flow,

βœ…generate Strong Quality Connections, Course Corrections in situations beyond our control, 

βœ…confidently hold Candid conversations with ourselves and others to avoid unnecessary languishing emotional/physical/mental disasters!
