Thank you, Jaime!

And some ideas for networking (if it's of any interest or help)

Hey, Jaime!

So excited to be working together!

Last week at Goldilocks, you mentioned to the group that you liked my question, "So, what do you do for fun?" If I recall, you added it to your structured questions (?).

I thought I'd follow up as a service to share my typical Q's I ask at networking events in case you find any of these sparks as much interest as the Fun Q did.

I know for myself the way I better connect with and remember people best (and so they may remember me) isn't by job titles or catchy elevator pitches (not that that's what you ask them to do, but sometimes people automatically go there)...

I break my questioning into their values, passions, and educational ties to their work. Hence, the "what do you do for fun" Question came from. I'll never forget Caren in the group as the rollerskater, for example! :) If I want to reach out to her, I can start there to connect us on her personal passion before I start chatting about business.

It's my own structure, take it or leave it--again, I LOVE what you're doing which is why my butt is in the seat every week! You and Emma attract a variety of helpful women, and I admire your committed attitude to their success!

So, here are some connection Qs I bring in (one, OR all) depending on how networking times are structured before I ask what they need at this moment in business--(truth be told, I structured it in the way my second husband and I got to know each other on our first few dates, lol! We are both entrepreneurs, so we didn't think it weird AT ALL to ask these sorts of Q's, lol )

POTENTIAL CONNECTION QUESTIONS:

❒So, what do you like to do for fun outside of your passionate service to others?

Me? One bit of fun I have is planting and designing my garden--although I'm a magnet for Poison Ivy and have last years' scars to prove it!

❒What book (s) would consider your 'bible' that informs the work you do in the world or your personal relationships?

My Top Two in business are: The Success Principles (Jack Canfield, High Performance Habits (Brendon Burchard).

My Top Two favorites in life are: Man's Search for Meaning (Victor Frankl), The Velveteen Rabbit

❒So I can help you connect to your ideal people, what stage or area of business or project are you focused on that needs the most support?

Me? I'm in the first stage of an exciting collaborative dream project unfolding in this season of business. My purpose here today at the ASK level is to invite you in to sign up as an early participant in the project, as well as help co-create! I'll put my link in the comments, and if you are intrigued, please sign up! Or, I would be grateful if you forward it to someone who fits the program description for review.

❒I'm curious, what's your #1 core value in life? In business?

Me? A #1 core value in my life is compassion. A #1 core value in my business is knowledge plus character.

❒What's your #1 goal in networking this year?

Mine? To gather 50 new people that align with my work and values and serve them by my level of excellence standard to create lifelong business partnerships in trust, loyalty, and adventure.

Okay--that's all I got at the moment! Feel free to use any or all, and edit as you feel appropriate matches or inspires your goals in building your network with Emma!

Hugs,

Amy
