Question 1 of 4

The MasterPeace-of-Mind program integrated Transformational and Experiential adult learning theories using my original CreativeGeniusFramework™. All of you were encouraged to 'get uncomfortable'!

The purpose of Transformation Learning is to: Reveal perspectives to create Aha Moments [1]

The three areas of transformational learning I aimed at were :

  1. Identification of a Dilema or crisis (through the Fiery Four and inner conflict journey)
  2. Establishment of personal relevance (through inner character connections at the emotional levels)
  3. Critical thinking: in transformational learning creating opportunities for critical reflection is essential. The idea is to let participants sort through their feelings, thoughts, behaviors (I tried to accomplish the reflection piece in breakout rooms and in the self-critical analysis in LifeWork)

Please Put a YES below if you are ready to begin answering questions about your transformational experience!

Question 2 of 4

Based on your understanding of transformational learning, please answer these questions so I can be clear about whether or not I met these objectives:

  1. Did you experience Aha moments, and if so, what were they?
  2. Were you able to clearly identify your inner ‘crisis or dilemma’ through the work we engaged in with Fiery Four and inner conflict journey?
  3. Did you feel you established personal relevance with the materials to be used in your real life, through the inner character work?
  4. Were the critical thinking exercises (in the breakout, chat box, and LifeWork) effective in helping you sort through your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors around your inner character, stress response, conflicts, and vision around peace of mind?

Question 3 of 4

The purpose of Experiential Learning is to: Tie reality to create meaning and ‘make sense of experiences.’ It is known that adults learn best when they learn by doing and experiencing vs. memorizing numbers, definitions from books, etc. Instead, I invited you to take an experiential walk through your life past, present, and future.

On our journey, I invited you to enter into uncertainty, to be okay, not to have a plan to memorize--except in the affirmation through repetition-connection.

There are 4 areas of experiential learning I aimed for:

  1. Concrete Experience: “learning that evokes strong emotional response” (I used the creative connection to songs, for example, to evoke emotional connection and response)
  2. Reflective Observation: “to provide time and space to encourage reflection” (I attempted this through breakout sessions, in chat box, and in LifeWork segments)
  3. Abstract Conceptualization: “The success of experiential learning lies in the learner being able to decode abstract concepts from their reflections, generalize these ideas, and realize the relevance to their reality. Designs assessments to encourage learners to exercise their “critical thinking” abilities, so they can formulate concepts and procedures.” (while concepts may have felt unfamiliar or abstract, that was the goal, to encourage participants to create on their own, ways to formulate what I was presenting--vs. telling them what each one is for in their life)
  4. Active Experimentation: “Role-playing activities, internships, and other hands-on tasks let learners apply the learning and thus truly “learn by doing.” Active Experimentation leads to concrete experiences, and the cycle of experiential learning resumes.” (in the repetition/rehearsal phases, I brought in role-playing through theatrical techniques such as Meisner Technique, etc.)

Question 4 of 4

Based on your understanding of experiential learning, please answer these questions so I can be clear about whether or not I met these objectives:

1) Did any of the connective exercises evoke a strong emotional response? If so, how did that show up?

2) How might you describe your experience with reflective observation (in the breakouts, chat box, and LifeWork)?

3) With all of the concepts and principles I introduced, do you feel you were able to become your own critical thinker to decode, generalize ideas, and realize their relevance to your reality? If so, how?

4) In the amount of role-playing you experienced, were you able to apply that learning? Example: In the Meisner Technique, did you allow yourself to respond to what the other person is saying vs. staying stuck in your head about what you want to say next?

5. If you were a new or continuing participant, what would you like to see more of in this program to support your goal toward peace of mind around your 'Firey Four?

6. On a scale of 1-10, how do you rate your experience with MasterPeace-of-Mind Program so far?

7. On a scale of 1-10, how likely are you to recommend Amy McCann as a teacher/facilitator/coach?

8.  Do you like the idea of weekly sessions, or could you see this program offered in a 1/2 day workshop style as a 'better' way for people to experience it?

9.  Finally, if you loved your experience when the program ended, would you provide a testimonial for me to use on my social media platforms? (Yes or No)
